T45 Bottom Bracket for Campagnolo UT

T45 is the Colnago standard, though it's sometimes known as ThreadFit82.5. This kit allows you to install Campagnolo and Fulcrum Ultra-Torque cranks on your ThreadFit bb Colnago.

CeramicSpeed Bearings come installed in cups and are connected through the shell. There are two versions: Standard and Coated Bearings. Both have super round CeramicSpeed Balls and hardened-steel races. The Coated have an additional attribute: a 3-micron thick metallic layer over the races. This addition makes the races harder and smoother, lowering drag and increasing life.

In The Box

  • 2 bearings.
  • 2 cups.
  • Spacer tube.
  • Wave washer.
  • CeramicSpeed All Round Grease.
  • Sticker sheet.

Technical Data

The spindle, not the bottom bracket, is where bearing sit on Ultra-Torque, pressed against the arms. A removal/installation tool is necessary; we sell one here, but any appropriate tool will work. Spacers are included in case the bb shell is too narrow.

The bearings are built by installing our CeramicSpeed Balls in hardened-steel races. It means a 75% reduction in drag versus conventional bottom brackets. The CeramicSpeed Balls are 400% smoother and 128% harder than steel. CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings have frictional drag 0.3-0.4w per set with standard grease. They also last at least 3x longer.

More of your effort goes to driving the bike with Coated Bearings. The coated races find a 50% drag reduction and an improvement in bearing life of 60% vs. Standard.

To customize your ride to your needs, change grease. All Round Grease comes installed; can be swapped for lower drag Race Day Grease or higher durability Long Life Grease, better for messy conditions.

This product is compatible with our T45 tool.
