Equally adept at humming along at a rapid clip as it is at cruising, the Marin Sausalito ST is an urban, electric bike that's as suited to your daily grind as it is to your weekend adventures. The Sausalito ST has a powerful Shimano STEPS electric motor with a maximum assisted speed of 28MPH to boost you up those hills and get you where you're going: cool, comfy, and composed. 650b wheels and wider tires smooth out the bumps, and there are heaps of options for fenders, frame bags, and lights, making it the perfect customizable commuter. Whether you're in a rush or taking in the scenery, the Sausalito will get you there looking and feeling fresh.

The Marin Sausalito ST is the step-through version of this bike, built with a lower frame top tube than the standard version. Many riders find step-through frames easier to hop on and off, and they're particularly suited to riders who need to mount/dismount their bike frequently, for riding with heavy bags and gear where slow-speed balance can be an issue, or for those with reduced mobility.

SERIES 3 ALUMINUM FRAME

The standard and step-through versions of Sausalito feature a Series 3 aluminum frame with butted tubes and robust forgings, specifically designed to house the drive unit and removable battery, as well as mount a variety of commute accessories directly to the frame. All Sausalito models can accommodate tires up to 27.5" x 2.25".

SHIMANO STEPS

The Sausalito 2 features the Shimano STEPS EP6 motor system with 250 Watts and 85Nm of torque for a good get-up-and-go feeling, with long range and enough power to get you over the steepest of climbs. The Sausalito 1 features a Shimano STEPS E5000 system with 250 Watts and 40Nm of torque.

FORKS

The BMX inspired steel fork on Sausalito 1 and 63mm travel suspension fork on Sausalito 2 smooth out and stabilize the front of the bike when roads get rough.

REMOVABLE BATTERY

The battery is secured direct to the frame with a key lock, and is easy to remove to carry with you for charging. Sausalito 1s include a 418Wh battery, while the Sausalito 2 models step up to a 504Wh battery.
