It’s not a road bike, nor a gravel bike. This is Colnago’s first model designed to go smooth and flowing on the tarmac as well as on light dirt roads. Welcome, C68 Allroad. With cyclists’ needs becoming more and more refined, Colnago is dedicating a frame to those who are looking for adventures and who are happy to keep going further, even when the smooth surface ends. The C68 Allroad is a dedicated version of the C68, a range of bicycles that best expresses the concept of ‘handmade in Italy’ and stays true to the true Colnago DNA, with the concept of multiple parts. The C68’s soul is based on performance but also oriented towards riding pleasure.

COLNAGO CC.01 HANDLEBAR

The Colnago CC.01 is an integrated handlebar, made in a single piece, completely monocoque, advantageous to both saving weight and increasing stiffness.

SPECIFIC GEOMETRIES

Specific geometries has been studied, making the bike more compact and comfortable, and with an optimized tire clearance.

HEADSET RAISED

A dedicated new Colnago CC.01 integrated handlebar will also be available with the C68. Usually integrated handlebars are built using several pieces of carbon glued together, either on the drops or on the stem. However the Colnago CC.01 is made in a single piece, completely monocoque, advantageous to both saving weight and increasing rigidity.

REVISED OBLIQUE TUBE

Unlike the road model, this frame is characterized by the presence of a more squared and massive oblique tube, which characterizes the C68 Allroad. Same superior feeling, broader adventures.

TIRE CLEARANCE UP TO 35MM

Thank to reinforced lower chainstays, the new C68 Allroad can accommodate wider tires, up to 35mm (road C68 only up to 32mm). Since there several components are available, the declared tire clearance is nominal and every setup must be checked.

IT’S TIME TO RIDE LONGER

The bicycle is designed to optimize the position on the saddle, making it easier to keep it for a longer time, especially for the back and the neck.

OPTIMIZED REACH AND STACK

Compared to the C68 Road, the C68 AllRoad has a shorter reach and a higher stack. The upper body stays in a more upright position and the arms are less stretched out. This takes some weight off the hands and puts more on the saddle. This results in an increase in comfort especially on rough surfaces or during long rides.

WIDER TIRE CLEARANCE

The C68 AllRoad has greater tire clearance than the Road model. It can accommodate wider tires, up to 35 mm. Wider tires are more versatile, more comfortable, decrease the risk of a pinch flat and, at certain pressures, have better rolling performances.

REVISED TUBE SHAPES

The C68 Allroad is the first Colnago designed to go smooth and flowing on the tarmac as well as on light dirt roads. Although it can handle gravel, this bike is built for paved roads, but also partially dirt roads, concrete roads, and lightly irregular surfaces. To achieve this, we changed the shape of the down tube, and reinforced the chainstays and the seatstays. Same superior feeling, broader adventures.

HANDMADE IN ITALY

The C68 Allroad is, like all the C series, handmade in Italy, from the phase of cutting the carbon fiber for the tubes to the final assembly. To learn more about the process of making the C series, watch this video.

THE C-SERIES HERITAGE

Colnago bikes are not meant to be ordinary. Following the tradition of Colnago C Series, the C68 Allroad is not a monocoque, but it is composed of several modular parts assembled together by the hands of our artisans. Some of the joints are left visible, while others have been masked with a complex process of bandaging. The result is an essentially seamless frame, with a delicate stand out of the head tube and seat cluster. The C68 Allroad, like every C-Series Colnago, is an exclusive model, dedicated to all those who are able to appreciate the fine art of crafting bicycles. A mastery that Colnago is proud to have cultivated since the early 50s, when our bespoke bikes started to win every possible race with the most legendary champions
