And with an updated flat-pedal-specific sole, our Ergolace Flat shoes offer the perfect setup for any traditional or e-mountain biker ready to head off the grid. Additionally, Ergolace feature minimal foot roll and a widened bottom to provide plenty of contact with wide platform pedals, allowing for a more evenly spread load.

Wet-weather GORE-TEX protection

In its GORE-TEX configuration, riders can now extend their thirst of adventure thanks to the triple-layered waterproof, breathable membrane: adding protection from the elements while keeping feet dry. Ready for the rough stuff, the hardwearing ripstop woven fabric uppers resist abrasion and tearing while a PU-laminated toecap and side reinforcements add further protection and durability. For increased comfort, the Ergolace pattern cradles the foot, securing the fit with an ergonomic lace-up closure.

The X2 Flat outsole: trail-ready versatility

The X2 outsole enhances the versatility of our all-mountain shoe. Engineered to deliver an optimal balance between efficient pedaling performance and flexibility for comfort and control on and off the bike, the X2 outsole keeps riders covered for all those hike-a-bike moments. The compressed EVA midsole provides stability and cushioning while the Vibram rubber tread ensures grip and traction, whatever the conditions underfoot. The directional lug pattern is designed for confident footing; with the right spacing and depth to bite into softer soil, its made from a unique compound thats ideal for gripping slick rocks while hiking. This flat-pedal version has a low-profile tapered tread pattern positioned at the mid-foot that allows for an immediate connection and optimal mechanical interface with the pedal pins.
