2025 Marin Alcatraz 1 - Blue/Blue Fade
The Alcatraz 1 is the entry level into the Matt Jones matrix, the base to which, if they wish, the rider can build from and personalize the best dirt jump bike possible. At home boosting your local 6-pack, ripping up the pump track, or hitting the local skate park, the Alcatraz 1 allows you to take care of business in a solid and reliable package.
The Series 3 aluminum frame is built for hard knocks and stiff enough for lightning-fast acceleration. Short chainstays make manuals easy whilst little details like ambidextrous cable routing means you can run your brake on the left or right of the bars. There’s a suspension-corrected CrMo fork to keep the angles as Matt designed, front and rear Tektro disc brakes, Vee Tire rubber and plenty of bombproof Marin components. Best of all, it’s available in two frame sizes, regular and long.

SERIES 3 ALUMINUM FRAME
The Alcatraz features a 6061 Series 3 alloy frame, with a burly double butted tubesets for the best ride quality and stiffness, tapered headtubes for maximum strength on big jumps, and horizontal drop out with slotted IS disc brake tabs.
SHORT CHAINSTAYS
Chainstay lengths are optimized at 395mm to make sure you can have the shortest possible, giving you the ability to pop a wheelie or manual anywhere at anytime.
135X10MM HORIZONTAL DROPOUTS
The Alcatraz features 135x10mm horizontal single speed only dropouts - the standard in dirt jump technology for axle and dropout strength.
AMBIDEXTROUS INTERNAL ROUTING
The location of the internal routing port allows for the rear brake to be located on the left or right hand side of the handlebars.
