MAHLE X20 DRIVE UNIT

The Mahle X20 motor is silent and completely dragless. The technology behind it uses a dedicated road bike assistance that ensures a natural riding feeling both when the rider goes above 25kmph/20mph and the assistance shuts off, and when it starts to give you power again. The transition is smooth, there's no hitting the wall feeling or unnatural push between, it's unitrusive and easy. On top of this, thanks to the torque and cadence sensor in the bottom bracket it also learns from your riding style and adapts its responses and asssistance to you. The Mahle X20 system is one of the lightest on the market with a total weight of 3.2kg and a max torque of 55Nm.

MAHLE iX250 BATTERY

Addict eRIDE features a 236Wh battery neatly placed in the downtube. The battery has an intelligent technology, including a feature fast charging the battery up to 80% of its full capacity in less than two hours. The battery keeps the look of the bike slim and does'nt add on too much on its surface, which in turn keeps it lightweight and closer to an acoustic bike in it's apperance.

MAHLE HMI CONTROLLER

The Mahle HMI controller is discretely installed in the top tube. The remote is minimalistic and simple, yet gives you all the data you need during the ride. With just one look, you get an overview of the battery level, assistance mode, warnings and alerts. The controller allows you to easily turn on and off the drive unit, and change between the assistance modes.

MY SMARTBIKE APP

Mahle's My SmartBike app keeps you updated with everything concerning your bike. You can easily track your ride, do system updates within minutes and see the status of your bike. Here you can also tune the motor and customize how you like the assistance and pedal response. It easily integrates with Strava recorded activities which can be viewed in the app.

Pulsar ONE DISPLAY

The Addict RC eRIDE Ultimate features a Pulsar ONE display from Mahle, which gives you further detailed information about the bike and your ride. The Pulsar ONE is an ANT+ Bike computer and connects seamlessly to the Mahle system.

ASSIST MODES

The Mahle X20 system offers four riding modes: ECO, mid-power, turbo and smart-assist. The Smart- assist mode is responsive to the rider and adopts the assistance according to the the rider's weight, power input and how the terrain is changing during the ride. With the Smart-assist mode, the rider doesn't need to adjust the riding mode, but rather to let the system adjust the modes to the terrain.

MAHLE RANGE EXTENDER e185

The Addict RC eRIDE is Range Extender compatible, giving you additional 171Wh of battery and a total of 407Wh. The Range Extender comes as an accessory and looks like a simple bottle. To connect it to the system, it's as easy as sliding a bottle into a bottle cage, and the system will automatically adapt to having two power sources.
