Because young rippers need that Rifty Love too! Our take on the ultimate do-it-all trail bike, bringing big-bike performance for younger riders. The Marin Rift Zone Jr is made to party, just like the full-sized Rifty. It has 24" wheels that are a little smaller than our full-sized bikes, making it the perfect gateway ride for tweeny riders. And just like the 'grown up' Rift Zone, it has 130mm rear travel, a lightweight aluminum frame and our super-plush MultiTrac suspension platform for endless good times on the trails. And best of all, the Rift Zone Jr can grow with your child. Got another little shredder on the way? The Rift Zone Jr shares the same frame, fork and shock as the Rift Zone 26". Simply swap the wheels to 26" and longer cranks as your child outgrows the Jr.

TRAIL GEOMETRY

We put as much attention when designing the Rift Zone 26/Jr as we do the adult bikes, so young riders get to experience modern long/low/slack geometry, enhancing comfort and control when the trail gets steep and/or rough.

AIR SUSPENSION

Easily adjustable air suspension is tunable for a growing kid.

INTERNAL CABLE & HOSE ROUTING

The Rift Zone 26 and Rift Zone Jr are compatible with internally routed dropper posts, with internal rear derailleur routing for a clean look and snag free ride. Unused ports come pre-plugged, to keep the frame insides clean.

DISC BRAKES

Hydraulic disc brakes provide smooth, controlled stopping in all conditions with minimal maintenance.

24" WHEELS - UPGRADEABLE TO 26"

The 24" wheel Rift Zone Jr can fit 26" wheels down the road, extending its life and versatility.

SUSPENSION SETUP

REAR SHOCK SET UP

Recommended Sag = 30%/15mm

Step 1: Set correct pressure in rear shock.

Step 2: Sit on the bike and cycle the suspension (*with correct riding gear).

Step 3: Reset O-ring and sit on the bike, DO NOT BOUNCE, carefully step off.

Step 4: Measure sag (from o-ring to seal of shock), If it does not match the bike's recommended sag in millimeters repeat process.

Step 5: Adjust rebound setting to ensure proper control.

FORK SET UP

Marin recommends that all bikes front and rear suspension feel balanced

Step 1: After rear sag is set follow the recommended pressure from the fork manufacturer.

Step 2: Bounce evenly up and down on the bike, cycling the suspension up and down to make sure both front and rear suspension feel balanced, if the front does not match the rear add or release pressure.

Step 3: Once the bike feels balanced adjust the rebound damping to ensure proper control.
