Description

The Piston Pro hitch rack features some of the same great features as the Piston Pro X minus the integrated LED taillights and the Kashima-coated piston arms. This bike rack for your car is all-metal and can safely transport bikes and electric bikes weighing up to 67 lbs. per tray or 42 lbs. per tray on chassis-mounted RV hitch. With just one tap, the pneumatic arms open wide and grab your bike tire perfectly, creating no contact with the frame. Whether you're rolling on smallish wheels or beefy tires, you won't need any adapters or tools to make them fit. Just squeeze and slide the adjustable wheel chocks to hold 18"-29" tires. Additionally, the Piston Pro hitch rack will hold bikes with wheelbases up to 53" and tires as wide as 5".

And, when it comes to security, we didn't cut any costs. The provided hitch lock adds an additional level of security at the hitch, while the semi-integrated 12mm cable lock helps keep your bike secure.

RV Compatibility

• The dedicated 2" Piston Pro (2-Bike) is RV compatible with chassis-mounted hitch receivers. (weight capacity: 42 lbs.)
• All other configurations of the Piston Pro are only compatible with some Class B chassis, such as camper vans.

RV Compatibility

The dedicated 2” Piston Pro (2-Bike) is RV Compatible if:

1. The receiver hitch is directly attached to the RV chassis, not just to the bumper; and
2. The bicycle rack is in a 2-bike (or fewer) configuration with no add-on unit attached; and
3. The weight capacity does not exceed more than 42 lbs. per tray; and
4. No hitch extender or swing-away rack attachment is being used.

All other Piston Pro configurations (including the 1.25" with and without hitch adapters) are ONLY compatible with some Class B chassis, such as camper vans.
