The Empire XC builds on the success of the past but keeps the elements that made it loved by gravel riders and XC racers alike. We started with a more flexible Teijin microfiber upper with added suppleness that conforms for a glove-like but never-too-snug fit. Our new co-molded carbon composite and Sensor rubber outsole gives you plenty of grip off bike, power to the pedal and long-term durability. Dependable and easily replaceable laces allow you to fully customize your fit, while inside, our Supernatural™ insole kit allows three choices of personalized arch support. High performance and classic, clean style for when things get dirty.

• SENSOR™ RUBBER ? Giro's proprietary rubber formula maximizes grip and durability without sacrificing light weight. The rubber outsole is co-molded with the carbon composite plate to deliver a permanent; glue-less bond.
• SUPERNATURAL FIT SYSTEM ? Our Supernatural Fit System includes footbead and adjustable arch support with Low; Medium; and High arch support chips. Adjust arch support to enhance fit and pedaling efficiency while reducing the chances of common foot discomforts like numbness; hotspots; and cramping.
• CO-MOLDED CARBON COMPOSITE PLATE ? Engineered by Giro to deliver optimal stiffness with forefoot flex tuned to handle hike-a-bikes without compromising power transfer. The carbon plate is co-molded with Sensor rubber to deliver a permanent; glue-less bond.
