Giving trusted protection with an entirely new approach to the helmet peak to offer flexibility for greater weather protection or more ventilation, the Cularis Pure works to keep you fully protected and comfortable on both technical and flowy mountain bike trails.

The Cularis Pure is built around a new approach to the helmet peak. An interchangeable cover sits over the top of the helmet and can be swapped to close the ventilation ports when conditions turn wet, or removed to maximise airflow on warmer days. On either setting, the peak is engineered to break away on frontal impact, reducing the forces transmitted to your head and neck.

Extended protection zones around the temples and back of the head give extra coverage in the areas where impacts are most likely to occur. An optimised EPS liner concentrates protection where it is needed most, while a lightweight PC shell adds structural stability without adding unnecessary weight. The result is a lightweight helmet that moves with you through technical terrain, without slowing you down on the climbs.

The Cularis Pure features Mips Evolve, a rotational impact protection system that works to reduce rotational forces in the event of an angled impact - the kind most commonly experienced in real-world crashes. A 360° adjustment system makes it easy to find a secure, comfortable fit across a range of head shapes.

Certification

CPSC 1203

The CPSC 1203 standard is the mandatory bicycle helmet requirement for the United States. It evaluates impact absorption, strap and buckle strength, and overall helmet stability to ensure reliable protection in common crash scenarios. Helmets meeting CPSC 1203 provide the safety performance required for cycling on roads, paths and trails across the US. This standard is the equivalent to CE EN but the rules are slightly more stringent in terms of the impact test, meaning helmets can meet the CE EN 1078 standard with thinner foam and lighter weight than the US CPSC 1203.

EN 1078

EN 1078 is the European safety standard for cycling, skate and roller-sports helmets. It assesses impact protection, retention-system performance, chin-strap durability and field of vision. A helmet certified to EN 1078 meets the safety criteria for use throughout Europe, offering dependable protection for everyday riding and sport cycling.
