The award-winning Tempor helmet is designed to provide the cutting-edge advantage needed in time trial races.

Trusted for its speed for over a decade, the Tempor remains a firm favourite with athletes in time trials and on the track. Updated on the inside for a more comfortable fit, the helmet still retains every detail that continues to make it one of the fastest there is.

Developed to give Swedish rider and time trial expert Gustav Larsson the edge in the London 2012 Olympic Games, the helmet is as slippery possible for ultimate efficiency cutting through the air.

The shape results from extensive CFD (computational fluid dynamics) modelling and aerodynamic simulations. It is designed to ensure the optimum flow of air around the whole body, not just over the head. As such, the helmet works to direct air away from the shoulders, ensuring you cut through the air as efficiently as possible.

Two air intakes at the front help to reduce air resistance, allowing some air to flow through the helmet and over the shoulders, rather than creating too much turbulence as you push forwards. This airflow also provides generous ventilation through every effort.

Updated on the inside to reduce pressure points and be easier to get on and off, the helmet also features an improved fit system giving both comfort and security.

Certification

CPSC 1203

The CPSC 1203 standard is the mandatory bicycle helmet requirement for the United States. It evaluates impact absorption, strap and buckle strength, and overall helmet stability to ensure reliable protection in common crash scenarios. Helmets meeting CPSC 1203 provide the safety performance required for cycling on roads, paths and trails across the US. This standard is the equivalent to CE EN but the rules are slightly more stringent in terms of the impact test, meaning helmets can meet the CE EN 1078 standard with thinner foam and lighter weight than the US CPSC 1203.

EN 1078

EN 1078 is the European safety standard for cycling, skate and roller-sports helmets. It assesses impact protection, retention-system performance, chin-strap durability and field of vision. A helmet certified to EN 1078 meets the safety criteria for use throughout Europe, offering dependable protection for everyday riding and sport cycling.

Features

Developed using CFD

Developed for ultimate speed using computational fluid dynamics.

EPS liner

The high-performance EPS liner is optimized for competition.

Shaped for speed

The outer PC Shell is shaped for speed, deflecting air away from the shoulders for the optimum aero profile around the whole body.

Size adjuster

The integrated size adjuster makes it easy to find a precise, secure fit.

Air channels

Frontal air intakes reduce air stagnation and dead spots while also channelling air for ventilation

Detachable visor

Two lenses are included: one clear, and one tinted for all conditions. The helmet can also be used without the visor.
