It's no surprise that the big races like the Tour de France are won in the mountains. That is where the fittest, fastest climbers can put the maximum time on the competition and create the time gaps necessary to ensure victory.

A big part of Team Jumbo-Visma's plan in 2023 was to ensure that Jonas Vingegaard had the lightest bike possible. So it should come as no surprise that Jonas outfitted his Cervelo R5 with a Reserve tubular wheelset, the 36|39. This wheelset provided the perfect balance between weight, stability and aerodynamics, allowing Team JV to secure consecutive TDF victories.

Note: Tubular wheels like the Reserve 36|39 require tubular tires that are glued to the rim during the installation process. Tubeless or tube-style tires are not compatible with the Reserve 36|39.

Stable and Fast

The mixed profile front and rear setup of the 36|39 provides for maximum stability, lowest weight and optimized aerodynamics. The 36|39 was used by Jonas Vingegaard in his 2023 Tour de France victory

Ready for Racing

The 36|39 is designed specifically for CX and climbing, for use with tubular tires. There are no weight limits.

Turbulent Aero Technology

The 36|39 was designed with Turbulent Aero technology where real world data is used to design the fastest, most stable wheelset for real riders in real world conditions.
