2026 Salsa Beargrease C XT - Indigo

Beargrease C XT blends the DNA of a fat-tire bike and a trail bike for a ride that devours groomed snow trails and more. The carbon frame and fork are lightweight and pair perfectly with Beargrease's nimble geometry. Its 27.5 x 4.0" tires are an unstoppable combo of rollover and float that open up new terrain. Mounts for bags, bottles, and racks make it easy to bring extra layers, snacks, or even camping gear - whatever you need for extended rides. Beargrease Geometry

Completely redesigned frame and fork for 2019. 440mm chainstays, longer front/center, short stems, and wide bars create room to move and add confidence while maneuvering on tight trails. Standover height is improved, allowing the addition of a new XS frame size. This geometry results in a fat bike that rides like a trail bike. It is stable, steers well in loose conditions, and still remains nimble and agile despite the massive wheels and tires. A low bottom bracket height is also key, keeping the rider's center of gravity low, and making dabbing, dismounting, and remounting easier.

27.5 x 4" Wheel & Tire Size

Beargrease rolls on 27.5 x 4" wheels and tires. For groomed snow or dirt, the increase in diameter provides increased rollover, a longer contact patch, and the flotation of a 5" tire without the added rolling resistance
