Keeping you protected from the specific impacts associated with slalom racing, the Artic SL Mips features extra protection zones and a fully adjustable and removable chin bar.

The Artic SL Mips, the classic slalom helmet, is fine-tuned for protection between the gates.

Shaped for a more secure and comfortable fit, and featuring a 360° fit system so you can adjust the fit to your liking, it's easy to keep your focus on racing once the helmet is on.

The slalom helmet features numerous POC protective technologies including VPD inserts at the back of the helmet to enhance protection from repeat impacts.

An EPP liner offers multiple impact protection, while a tough and resilient ABS shell enhances durability. The helmet also features Mips for enhanced rotational impact protection.

Ventilation is fully adjustable, and the helmet comes complete with the POC Maxilla Breakaway Chin Guard and a Fidlock® buckle that is easy to operate with gloves on.

ASTM F2040

ASTM F2040 is the American standard for snow sports helmets, covering alpine skiing and snowboarding. Helmets are independently tested across a range of performance criteria, including how effectively the helmet absorbs and reduces impact force, how securely the retention system holds the helmet in place during an impact, and overall stability of fit to ensure they meet defined safety requirements.

EN 1077 Class B is the standard classification under the European certification for alpine ski and snowboard helmets. Class B helmets are tested for impact absorption and retention system performance, making them suited to recreational snow sports use.
