Featuring an updated interior that refines both fit and function-and coming complete with Mips rotational impact protection-the helmet offers comfort and security in the backcountry.

Thicker padding around the helmet brim and crown gives a softer, more cushioned feel at the contact points between the helmet and head. Improvements to the helmet's 360° fit system and cradle adjuster make it even easier to find a secure and comfortable fit.

Designed to be worn with or without ear pads, the Fornix Mips POW JJ features a highly adjustable chin strap with adjusters inspired by cycle helmets. The strap provides comfort and flexibility regardless of whether the ear pads are attached. The ear pads are soft and flexible, offering comfort and warmth when temperatures drop or winds rise.

Classic design details on the helmet, like the integrated aramid bridges for enhanced penetration protection, a goggle clip, and adjustable ventilation, provide comfort and security every time you take to the mountains.

ASTM F2040

ASTM F2040 is the American standard for snow sports helmets, covering alpine skiing and snowboarding. Helmets are independently tested across a range of performance criteria, including how effectively the helmet absorbs and reduces impact force, how securely the retention system holds the helmet in place during an impact, and overall stability of fit to ensure they meet defined safety requirements.

EN 1077B

EN 1077 Class B is the standard classification under the European certification for alpine ski and snowboard helmets. Class B helmets are tested for impact absorption and retention system performance, making them suited to recreational snow sports use.
