Maximize your performance and get ready to break away in pink.

Fast, safe and unmistakably EF Pro Cycling, the newest team edition of the Cytal pairs race-ready performance with EF Pro Cycling's signature 2026 design. Maximize your performance and inspire your next race and training day with a high-performance cycling helmet that delivers optimized safety, ventilation, and all-day comfort at both low and high speeds. Ready for race day and every day in between, now it's your turn to break away in pink.

The helmet is the ultimate choice for racers looking for safety, ventilation and airflow to give comfort and both low and high speeds. The road cycling helmet is shaped for efficient ventilation and airflow, and features an integrated wing to support airflow across the head while also enhancing the helmet's structural stability.

A natural choice for the racing fan, the EF Pro Cycling Edition of the Cytal helmet features a denser top section and thicker zones across the forehead to help minimise deformation during an impact, helping to ensure the Mips Air Node rotational impact protection system works most effectively.

A lower-density EPS is used in the lower sections of the helmet, keeping weight low.

Vital for safety is that the helmet sits comfortably and securely, and therefore it features a 360° fit system, as well as adjustable strap dividers under the ear, so that the fit of each helmet can be tailored for absolute comfort.

Certification

CPSC 1203

The CPSC 1203 standard is the mandatory bicycle helmet requirement for the United States. It evaluates impact absorption, strap and buckle strength, and overall helmet stability to ensure reliable protection in common crash scenarios. Helmets meeting CPSC 1203 provide the safety performance required for cycling on roads, paths and trails across the US. This standard is the equivalent to CE EN but the rules are slightly more stringent in terms of the impact test, meaning helmets can meet the CE EN 1078 standard with thinner foam and lighter weight than the US CPSC 1203.

Features

Large Airflow Channels

Deep channels running through the helmet support airflow across the whole head.

Integrated Wing

The helmet features an integrated wing to support structural stability and improve airflow both through and around the helmet.

PC Shell

The lightweight PC Shell improves structural stability and enhances helmet integrity.

Dual-Density EPS Liner

The helmet liner features two densities of EPS (expanded polystyrene), with a denser upper part and less dense lower section, delivering optimised crash protection while keeping weight low.

MIPS® Air Node

The Mips® Air Node, a low-friction layer laminated to the base of the comfort padding, works to improve rotational impact protection.

Eye garage

High-friction pads at the front of the helmet make it easy to store sunglasses while riding.

Adjustable strap dividers

The strap dividers beneath the ears are fully adjustable, making it easy to find a precise and secure fit.

Adjustable 360° Fit

A lightweight 360° adjustment system makes it easy to find a secure, comfortable fit.

Technical Features

Finite Element Method (FEM) modeling

Created to question many more safety variables, our FEM process ensures that we deliver products that live up to our internal safety demands and is the process that influenced the carbon wing.

The Cube

The Cube is an internal database containing nearly a million real-world data points used to give us insights into how we can refine the performance of our helmets.

CFD simulation and testing

Competitive cyclists optimize every pedal stroke to deliver pure forward motion. Several details need to align to create precise forward motion on a bike, such as fitness, power, and technique, all of which are basic building blocks to building speed.

How to choose: Road cycling helmets

A helmet is vital for your safety, but it's also a fundamental part of forming the perfect kit. Your helmet choice helps to define you as a cyclist, so it's always important to choose carefully.
