2026 Salsa Fargo Apex 1 - Orange

Fargo Apex 1 is our drop-bar off-road touring bike that knows no limits. A triple-butted steel frame, carbon fork, and massive tire clearance smooth things over when you find yourself on washboard or rooty singletrack. Alternator 1.5 dropouts let you experiment with drivetrain options (or single-speed your way home if needed), and a mind-boggling number of cargo mounts allows endless rack, bag, and bottle setups. SRAM's Apex 1 x 11 drivetrain is a reliable workhorse with the gear range for speedy adventures or hilly slogs. Fargo: load it up and get lost.

Light, tough, and ultra-versatile, this is our carbon fork for all-terrain riding. Two sets of Three-Pack mounts on each fork leg give you room for extra water or Anything Cages, and mid-blade mounts accommodate low rider racks. Firestarter fits a wide range of tire sizes, from 27.5 x 2.8-3.0" to 29 x 2.2-3.0"

Split-able version of our renowned Alternator Dropout for ultimate drivetrain versatility. Run singlespeed or geared, QR or thru-axle, freehub or Rohloff, or Gates Belt Drive.
